OPTIONAL CLEANUP PROCESS

Cliffwood is a big place and a lot to clean so we offer a $50 refund on cleaning fees to encourage guests to take the time to clean up the basic stuff according to the Cleanup Process below.

SHEETS – Change the sheets and pillow cases on any bed that was used and place the used sheets and pillow cases on the kitchen floor under the TV. Don’t change the mattress protector unless there was an accident of some sort that left a stain on it. Remake the beds as they were before, consult the photos if you cant remember.

TOWELS – All dirty towels should be left on the kitchen floor under the TV.

TRASH – Pickup all of your trash and place provided trash bags. Empty all trash cans into provided black trash bags (kitchen cabinet under sink) and place in the kitchen.

WIPE COUNTERS – Wipe down all counter tops with bottle labeled “COUNTERTOPS” under kitchen sink. Use small utility cloths in the drawer to the right of the kitchen sink.

SWEEP – Floors should be broom clean.

DISHES – All dishes, glasses, silverware and so on washed and put away.

ASHTRAYS – If you used the patio ashtrays, empty them into the trash, then wash and dry them.

HOOKA – If you used the hooka be sure to clean it out, wash the bowl and wipe the pipe down.

FRIDGE/OVENS – Check the fridge and oven for spills, and clean it if there are any. If you brought in food, or drinks you may leave un opened items for the next guest.

FURNITURE – All furniture returned to its original position, including and especially the backyard furniture which gets moved all over the place. If you don’t remember where that sofa was, ask a friend who didn’t drink as much as you or look at the listing photos, seriously somebody told us that LOL.

Note: This is completely optional. On checkout day we will coordinate a walk through to review the cleaning list before you leave. Allow 15 minutes prior to your scheduled leaving time so you can make any corrections required. Refunds are made after we have completed our cleanup and inspection and reviews are left.
